At RecDesk, accessibility is a key part of how we design and evolve our platform. As recreation and community organizations continue to serve diverse communities, ensuring that digital experiences are inclusive and usable for everyone is more important than ever.

We’re excited to share an update on our ongoing accessibility initiatives and how we are working to align with evolving standards like the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).

Advancing Accessibility Across RecDesk

Through this initiative, we are actively working to align with WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards, while also monitoring and preparing updates introduced in WCAG 2.2.

Our approach is an ongoing effort and focuses on continuous monitoring, proactive enhancements, and empowering users with tools to improve their experience.

VPAT & Accessibility Conformance Reporting

As part of this effort, we are currently finalizing an updated Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT) and Accessibility Conformance Report for RecDesk. These documents will provide a detailed overview of how the RecDesk platform aligns with WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards

We anticipate making this documentation available ahead of federal accessibility timelines in mid-April 2026. Once released, it will be accessible through the Community Accessibility at RecDesk page in our Support Portal.

Moving Accessibility Forward

Accessibility is central to how we build and evolve RecDesk. These efforts reflect our broader mission: to support the communities you serve by providing tools that are usable, inclusive, and forward-thinking.

We remain committed to continuous improvement and to partnering with our customers to create accessible digital experiences for all.
