POS Enhancement – Custom Button Colors

We’ve rolled in an update that now allows you to set your POS Terminal buttons to a color of your choosing. This can be done at both the Item Category level and at the Individual Item level. Item Level choices override those done at the Category level. This enhancement should really help in streamlining the checkout process.

Instructor and Coach Access Now Available

We’re happy to announce that Instructor and Coach access to Rosters and other registrant related information is now available. This is an opt-in feature and Coaches, Instructors and other Volunteers will only have access if you grant it to them. They will only be able to see their Program and/or Team Rosters. Basic capabilities are:

  • View Rosters
  • Email Rosters
  • Send Text/SMS to Rosters
  • Export Rosters to Excel

Facility Registration Pass-code Access for Coaches and Personnel!

RecDesk’s latest upgrade is Pass-code Restrictions on Online Reservations

RecDesk has added the capability to associate a “pass-code” with a particular Facility Reservation Calendar. This “pass-code” empowers coaches or authorized personnel the ability to reserve facilities online.  This simplifies reservation work for Parks and Recreation Departments by allowing designated person(s) to make Online Reservations for specific facilities.


In the Director site go to “Facilities”.  Choose the facility you want to give a “pass-code”.  Click on  the green edit button.

Invoice Merge now Available!

We added the ability for you to Merge Invoices this weekend. This will allow you to merge invoices that are OPEN, OVERDUE or PAID.


Under the “Money” tab go to the Invoice List. Select a member invoice. From the invoice you will have the option under the blue “Action” tab to Merge Invoice with Another.

Invoice Me (Pay Later) Option – RecDesk Community Portal

RecDesk now offers an Invoice Me (Pay Later) option for those customers who would like to allow their Community Members to register for Programs, enroll in Memberships and make Reservations Online, but Pay Later. The default is Credit Card (Pay Now) Only. The options are:

  • Credit Card (Pay Now) Only (Default) – this option requires ALL RecDesk Community payments to be made by Credit Card at the time the online transaction takes place.

RecDesk Community Mobile Release – Online Reservations now Available

RecDesk Community Mobile now supports Online Reservations! With this release, our RecDesk Community Mobile application is now functionally on par with the standard desktop Community Portal. This means that from Program Registrations to Membership Enrollments and League Schedule Look-ups to Reserving Facilities, community members can now do everything they need to do fro their phone or other mobile device.
