Focus on League Management

We just rolled in a great addition to League Management and have introduced league scheduling and standings capabilities. This first iteration provides “manual” scheduling. Games can be scheduled amongsts teams at the facilities/fields you designate and game results can be captured. All of this will be fully tracked on your Master (and Facility specific) Calendar and included in conflict (double-booking) checking when scheduling Programs, Reservations or other games.

Director Release – Date, Days, Times detail now included on Printed Receipt

A release was pushed in last night that includes more detail at the Program level for Start/End Dates, Days and Times. If the Line Item is a Facility Reservation, this is where the Reservation time will now be stated. Similarly, for Membership purchases, this is where the individual names of the Members included on the Membership will now be.

Director Release – Daily Attendance Sheet (Sign In/Out)

We rolled in a new Report over the weekend called the Daily Attendance Sheet which should be useful with the Summer Camp season rapidly approaching. RecDesk Release – Reservation Privacy Settings and Payment Record Enhancements

An update was rolled in this weekend and includes the following enhancements (in addition to several minor bug fixes)

1. Privacy Settings on Reservations

You now have the ability to show/hide the details of a Reservation by toggling the Privacy setting on the Reservation detail page. The two options are: PRIVATE – Details NOT viewable on Community Calendar and PUBLIC – Details Viewable on Community Calendar.

Director/Community Portal Release – Team Emails plus Community enhancements

A new release was pushed in over the weekend. Highlights are:

1. You can now send League and Team Emails directly from the League and Team Detail pages

Director Release – Optional Wait Listing plus minor bug fixes

We implemented a release over the weekend that now allows customers to make Wait Listing on programs optional. There is a new check box on the Program Detail page to toggle Wait Listing on/off and it is enabled (checked) by default.

Also, some minor bug fixes:

  • Fixed In House registrations appearing twice on Dashboard. These are now partitioned out by In House (Walk In) and In House (Mail In).

We rolled out a usability release today that that brings more attention to those programs that currently have individuals on the Wait List. Several of our customers mentioned that it wasn’t always easy to tell which programs had people on the Wait List short of going to the Wait List tab for that particular program.

RecDesk Release – Age Restrictions by Past/Future Dates and more

We rolled out a release last night that now allows you to specify past or future cut-off dates for Age Restriction calculations. Both the Min and Max Age properties of Programs now have an Enforce – Age As of Date that allows some flexibility as to how age is calculated for purposes of program participation. This works especially well for team sport activities.

RecDesk Update – Embedding Facility Photos/Slideshows/Video in RecDesk Community

RecDesk now lets you to display an individual photo, a slideshow or video of your facilities in the RecDesk Community portal by allowing you to include “embed code” from popular photo/video sharing sites such as Google Picasa, Flickr, YouTube and more (see full list at Wikipedia- List of photo sharing sites).
