We rolled out an enhancement this weekend that allows you to add Program Notes and Facility Notes to their respective Program or Facility. Notes complement the existing Description field and are a good place to capture special requirements, restrictions or anything else that should be emphasized to a parent and/or registrant that is not part of the actual Description of the Program or Facility.

Feature Overview – Setting up Residency Schemes in RecDesk

RecDesk allows you to set up residency parameters based on Town/City or Zip Code to automatically classify Members as Residents or Nonresidents. Select the Method (Town/City or Zip Code) and then enter the desired values separated by commas. Navigate to the Admin tab and then Settings. The example below shows two towns separated by commas. Upon clicking Save, the Residency Setting will be applied to ALL individuals with profiles in RecDesk.

Director Release – Jump to Facility, Program Expense Reporting and Inline Refunds

We just pushed out a release that includes the following updates:
  • Jump-to-Facility – You can now easily navigate to any Facility’s calendar from both the Master Calendar and individual Facility Usage calendars. 
  • Program P&L Reporting – The Program Revenue report now includes bot inline Refund tracing plus an Expense column. Additionally, there is an aggregate row up top for full Program P&L at a glance.

Director Release – Program Expense Tracking (Profit and Loss) and minor enhancements

We pushed out a release last night that includes enhancements to track expenses at the Program level to allow for more comprehensive Profit & Loss (P&L) reporting for all Activities and Programs. The expense line items can be tied to a General Ledger Expense Code to categorize and track these items in a way that makes sense for your organization. Using General Ledger (GL) Account Codes in RecDesk

RecDesk allows you to associate your Programs, Memberships, Facility Reservations and General payment receipts with a General Ledger Account (GL) number and then Report off of that. The first thing that needs to be done to implement this is to set up your various GL Accounts by going to the Admin tab and selecting Manage Custom Lists. From this screen you can Create, Edit and Delete GL Accounts. A screen shot is shown below.
